| so i went to a funeral today. it was the fourth one that i've been to in six months. all for people under the age of 35. rest in peace. i pray for those who have passed on, and i pray even harder for those who have been left behind. |

| i hope that you're finally at peace with yourself and with God. i wish that i would've made my peace with you in person, but now i can only do that in my heart. you once said that i was like a sister to you, and like sisters, we had our fights. and then we let a big one get in the way, and things couldn't be the same anymore. i'm not going to lie and say i never wondered how you were doing. the truth is, no matter how much i wanted to not think about you, i did. i always hoped that you were okay but my pride did not allow me to actually say so. i feel like i turned my back on you, when i knew that what you needed most was a strength that i can only claim to have. i hope it's not too late, and i hope that you can hear me. we've all made mistakes, and i'm sorry that i couldn't let it go.
